Up in Smoke - Shisha in Nagoya

Site Admin • Feb 25, 2020

The Rock is now the hottest new Shisha Bar in the city!

Some people call it a hookah, narghile, or simply, a water pipe. The shisha originates from the Middle East and certain areas of Asia and has recently become very popular, especially among young hipsters.

No matter its origins, shisha is relaxing and just tastes good! There are lot of different flavours these days. Here at The Rock, we have multiple flavours (usually at least 8) to choose from, including several special blends.

Enjoying Hookah in Nagoya

What's the deal?

Shishas can be rented for as little as ¥1,500 for as long as the coals last (about an hour) and can be used by several friends. We also have some awesome new premium pipes that rent for ¥2,000, a worthwhile upgrade, we're told.

Why not enjoy a drink with your shisha?

But there's more! You can also enjoy a one-hour nomi (that means “all-you-can-drink”) for an additional ¥1,500 per person.

Don't hesitate to ask our staff about shisha, flavours, and the nomi option!

Even better on Tuesdays!

Tuesday nights are Shisha Night here at The Rock (Nagoya) when you can enjoy special discounts!

  • ¥2,000 ➜ ¥1,300
  • ¥1,500 ➜ ¥1,000

And of course, the ¥1,500 nomi is available too!

*Shisha is available during our open hours, but availability and our ability to serve can sometimes be difficult during events or other busy times. Other restrictions may apply, such as smoke-free requests from musical performers or other large groups. Thanks for your understanding.
